The series incorporates dissociative identity disorder and child abuse elements as pivotal topics. Cha Do Hyun (Ji Sung) is a third-generation business heir who developed dissociative identity disorder (previously known as multiple personality disorder) in the aftermath of several life-threatening traumatic events. He tries to regain control over his life with the help of Oh Ri Jin (Hwang Jung-eum), a first-year psychiatric resident who helps him secretly. But Ri Jin’s twin brother, Oh Ri On (Park Seo-joon), is a writer who is determined to uncover the unscrupulous lives of the rich and starts following Do Hyun around. Can Do Hyun take control over his condition before one of his seven personalities takes control over him instead? [Wikipedia]
I honestly have no words to describe how amazing Kill Me, Heal Me is. I am so bitter that it didn’t get a lots of awards. Ji Sung deserved all the awards for his role in this drama. -__-
Cha Do Hyun is having multiple personalities (7 personalities!!!!) due to his tragic, near death experience in the past. Ji Sung played each personalities perfectly. My favorite personality is Ahn Yo-na. Ahn Yo-na is an extrovert and mischievous 17-year-old girl who loves idols. She has a crush/obsessed on Oh Ri-on. Oh, and she always cursing at Oh Ri-jin hahaha. I want a whole series about Yo-na, please :p
If Yo-na obsessed with Oh Ri-on, Shin Se-gi is obsessed with Oh Ri-jin. Cha Do Hyun first met Oh Ri-jin through Shin Se-gi.
I don’t know how Ji Sung did it. I swear to god. He made each personalities come to life. Definitely one of the best actor.
The chemistry between the three leads were out of this world. It was rare to see actors that were so in-sync with each other. Either it was Ji Sung X Hwang Jung-eum, Ji Sung X Park Seo-joon, or Park Seo-joon X Hwang Jung Eum. It was THAT GOOD it made both Ji Sung and PSJ won the best couple award LOL
The moment when Cha Do Hyun starting to heal, the parting moment with each personalities wrecked me. I cried so hard when it was time for Shin Se-gi to go 😦 Both Do Hyun and Ri-jin had gone through so much. And the fact that it was Oh Ri-jin who made Do Hyun had multiple personalities in the first place was heart breaking.
Kudos to the writer and everyone who involved in this drama.
The soundtrack is also amazing
Kill Me, Heal Me definitely is in my Top 3 Korean Drama I’ve seen this year. I highly, highly recommended!!
