Shin Joon-young (Kim Woo-bin) and No Eul (Bae Suzy) were a couple who were separated during their teenage years due to an ill-fated relationship, but later meet each other in adulthood. Shin Joon-young is now a top actor-singer while No Eul is a documentary producer. [Wikipedia]
This is my most anticipated drama I wanna watch in 2016. Of course, it because of Kim Woo Bin Oppa :p, finally become a lead role after having seeing him in The Heirs, as a second lead. Also Suzy has been a hot topic ever since she started dating Lee Min Ho. And I haven’t seen any of drama her drama except Dream High
Ever since her father died from hit-and-run, No Eul had a tough childhood because of her father left a huge debt behind prompting No Eul to quit school and make a living for her and her brother. As a documentary producer, she would do anything for money such as, blackmailing, bribing, or any fast cash job. Until one day she got an offered to do a documentary for this top-actor superstar, Shin Joon-young [Kim Woo Bin], and they happened to know each other in the past. But due to a tragic incident, they went on their own way. Their parting ways wasn’t on a good terms either. So how are they gonna cooperate with this whole documentary thing? We all know No Eul needed the money.
First few episodes were really good but as the show go on, it gets really draggy and lots of unnecessary scenes, like when Shin Joon-young feeling dizzy because of his illness. Not to mention, Kim Woo Bin started to lost his way throughout the show. I [sadly] had to say, he’s not quite ready yet to take a lead role. I’m sorry Woo Bin Oppa 😦
However, I couldn’t entirely blame him for the flop, It just that the story wasn’t so great either, eventho the premise had me intrigued. It wasn’t solely his fault. The chemistry between Kim Woo Bin and Suzy was okay. They didn’t make my heart flutter.
They were still cute tho…
Uncontrollably Fond also has a great OST. But my personal favorite was this song
