REVIEW: SON & PARK BEAUTY WATER

Son & Park Beauty Water is South Korean take on micellar water. And you guys know I’m all about that kind of water.

Lots of Korean beauties swears by this product. Some even called Son & Park Beauty Water is their holy grail. Even my friend highly recommended this product to me.

Me as a skin care enthusiast, had to know what the fuss is all about. So I decided to buy one from my go-to online shop. I bought the small bottle one (sample size, 60ml) for 100K Rupiah. It’s quite pricey for something that small. But a girl gotta killed the curiosity before it killed her. Lol

The first thing that really stuck out for me was its fragrance. It smells so luxurious, so fresh and not chemical-ish at all. I feel so fancy using it.

It did cleanse my skin. But, that’s it. I don’t see any significant change on my skin. It didn’t make my skin any brighter or even out my skin like some would claim. It’s just so-so for me. Just like any other toner/cleanser out there.

Would I be repurchasing this? No. I would rather going back to my trusty friend Bioderma.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Heimish All Clean Balm

I’ve always wanted to try Heimish product ever since I’ve watched Joan’s video. But they are so expensive. So they stay in my cart forever lol

Luckily, Yes24 had this amazing deals back then—where they sell some products samples for relatively cheap price, and Heimish All Clean Balm was one of the samples that they were selling at the time. Anyway, I kinda forgotten that I’ve had it, until yesterday when I look into my drawer where I store new (unopened) skin care products, I decided to give it a try. Continue reading

Ulasan Buku: Dilan: Dia Adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 (Dilan #1) oleh Pidi Baiq

Judul: Dilan: Dia Adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 (Dilan #1)

Penulis: Pidi Baiq

Terbit: 2014 by Pastel Books (Mizan Group)

Halaman: 332

Sinopsis: “Milea, kamu cantik, tapi aku belum mencintaimu. Enggak tahu kalau sore. Tunggu aja” (Dilan 1990)

Hahaha! Seneng bisa baca buku ini. Sudah pasti saya akan membaca buku lanjutannya!

IS IT WORTH IT? || BIODERMA MICELLAR WATER DUPES.

If you have been following my blog since the beginning, you all know that Bioderma is like my Holy Grail skin care product. I just can’t stop talking about it. Even Maya [jokingly, obviously] called me, “Bioderma Brand Ambassador”.

People always said that Bioderma’s products are too expensive so they are hesitate to give it a try. And look, I admit that their products are on the pricey side. That’s why I’ve been hunting for the drugstore versions of it. And I’ve got three drugstore brands so far.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water – 125 ml

Ingredients:

AQUA/WATER, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, GLYCERIN, POLOXAMER 184, DISODIUM COCOAMPHODIACETATE, DISODIUM EDTA, POLYAMINOPROPYL BIGUANIDE, F.I.L. # B54894/1

Price: Rp. 129.000,- at Sociolla

Out of the three products I mentioned above, I personally like the one from Maybelline. It has similar feeling that I have with Bioderma. It doesn’t tingling (or slight burn sensation) and it doesn’t really have fragrance to it unlike the other two. BUT, when it come to no rinsing, I still don’t trust these products. I just don’t want to risk it. I’m not saying they are bad products. A lot of people are actually preferred Garnier/L’Oreal over Bioderma. My skin is just reacted to those three products differently than most people.

I ended up using them as a make up remover. Which is good, because now I don’t have to buy separate make up remover and they did a decent job at removing my make up.

CONCLUSION

If you want to try them out, go ahead. Is it worth it? From their price point, they are pretty affordable. They did take off my make up quite nicely, but I suggest to not use them as a “no rinse” cleanser as they claimed to be. Just to be safe you know.

Living in a tropical country, face spray always comes in handy. Especially in this holy month where I’m fasting and can’t drink water as much as I want to keep my skin hydrated. One spray and my skin feel refreshed in instant. The different with Hydrabio Brume and Evian (because that’s the only brand that I have used before Bioderma) is the particles in Bioderma are really small and spread widely, so with a soft pump, it would cover your entire face and Hydrabio Brume dries quickly. So you don’t  need to dab it afterward.

After been using it for a week — three times a day,  in the morning, afternoon and evening after I clean my face using Hydrabio H20. The difference that I feel is my skin now less oily and no more dry patches that often appear because of my dehydrated skin. But now, bye bye dry patches! See you never!

Now my Hydrabio H20 has a friend 🙂

You can purchase Hydrabio Brume 50ml at Sociolla for Rp. 99.000,-

or other drug store such as Guardian, Watson, etc.
